Short on Space, Tall on Function
According to a recent study conducted by the American Furniture Manufacturers Association (AFMA), 87 percent of Americans describe the size of their home as small or medium and over 30 percent say they have small rooms in their homes.
"Today's smaller homes present interesting furnishing challenges and opportunities," said AFMA Vice President Jackie Hirschhaut. "Americans cherish their cozy homes, and fortunately, the right furniture can create beautiful and functional space."
AFMA's research revealed the top priorities of those furnishing and decorating smaller homes.
